IMltd as a partner provided a standard socio economic measurement (LM3) across all of the strands of the programme. We also led a further strand on developing practical applications and tools using the empirical research generated. This led directly to the development of the Meal Analyser tool with Edinburgh University.
University of Parma are using our LM3 methodology to establish the contribution of local agricultural producers to the socio-economic region of Parma. Around 30 producers are participating across a range of areas such as wine, meat, and vegetables.
Using an innovative “Food Systems Living Lab” model with 4 interconnecting units, this transdisciplinary consortia of academic and policy partners (including the Scottish Government), cultivated during the Good Food Nation (GFN) Act process, will work to build connections between, and skills across, the Scottish food systems transformation community, provide essential analytical support to relevant authorities, advise on the effective delivery of the GFN Act, and showcase the value and importance of innovative metrics and partnerships in delivering health centred, net zero aligned food systems transformation.
